Economic Modelling at thirty-five: A retrospective bibliometric survey

Economic modelling (EM) is a premier journal for policy-relevant economic models. However, so far, no retrospective studies exist the journal. This study addresses this gap using machine learning n-gram (bigram and trigram) analysis. The survey results find that has contributed to 9517 topics, with 69 topics covered in at least 10 between 1984 2019. Through co-occurrence analysis of bigram trigram terms, reveals major converge nine themes: international economics, development regional real estate growth development, financial monetary general equilibrium, finance, non-conventional finance macroeconomics. concludes key takeaways suggestions prospective authors intending publish their best papers EM.
